Senate Prepares to Vote on Border Fence Bill
On Thursday, Sept. 28, the U.S. Senate voted 71-28 to close debate on H.R. 6061, the Secure Fence Act of 2006. A final vote on the bill is expected today, clearing it for the President’s signature. The House of Representatives passed H.R. 6061 on September 14.
